About the stories

Along with fortune telling, snake charming, reciting poetry, puppet shows and clowning around, short story telling is a creative pursuit that has entertained people in village squares and on street corners for thousands of years.   So let the snakes free [they hardly need us being charming!] forget the future [who cares anyway!] join us and listen to Janetta as she spends her evenings telling stories from her studio attic.

These stories are suitable for people over forty, however many younger listeners will enjoy them!  Very suitable for those of you who grew up during the sixties and seventies or in South Africa, the Eastern Cape or East London

and Port Elizabeth. However anyone who enjoys a good story will like them!
 

Our stories will be enjoyed by:  Anyone who is 1960's crazy and, regardless of age, anyone who attended Hoor Skool Grens will appreciate some of the references.
